The Mimosa Hour exhibition in Modiin
A group exhibition in honor of international Women’s Day. The opening is on Thursday, March 16, at 8:00 PM at the Artists’ House, 1 Hatzav St., Reut. Gallery hours: Tuesdays, 5:00-7:00 PM, Saturdays, 11:00 AM-1:00 PM. The show closes on April 29.
In Italy mimosa flowers are distributed to women to honor them on this occasion. This show draws inspiration from this custom, from the film “The Hours” (directed by Stephen Daldry), as well as from the medieval illuminated Book of Hours. (From the text by curator Alejandra Okret)
