“She and I” in research article on Malva Schalek

The article “Malva Schalek: A Resistance Artist in Terezin” by Pnina Rosenberg includes a discussion of my paintings She and I (2) and (3) from the series The Painter and the Hassid. These paintings create a dialogue with Malva Schalek’s the self-portrait through the use of the diptych format. The article, with its in-depth discussion of the work of Malva Schalek, appears in the Spring 2020 volume of Prism: An Interdisciplinary Journal for Holocaust Educators.
