She and I 1 on poetry book cover

“She and I 1”, my painting from 2007, appears on the cover of the new poetry book by Sarit Eini Rich, “To Have and to Hold”.
The poems in the book conduct a dialogue between a woman and her many roles as mother, daughter and partner. This lends new meaning to the painting, which created a visual dialogue with the painter Malva Schalek, part of the series The Painter and the Hassid.
