My Rooftop Paintings of Sachnin and Eshchar are featured in a Hebrew article by which tells the story of their creation. “Observation of the rocky natural terrain and the changing light is accompanied by observation and thoughts about life in this place and my own bodily presence within it, including the people and structures that form a part of the landscape.”

The article appears in Mitzpe Magazine, and appears online here. You may order a printed edition of the whole volume, entitled “Breaking the Walls: Jews and Arabs in Israel after the May 2021 Riots” here. Mitzpe Magazine is published by the Hannaton Educational Center. I hope to add an English version of the article in the future.
